Dr. James Lee, BKin, DC graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Kinesiology (High Honours). During his undergraduate studies, he worked alongside physiotherapists providing sideline care for the University of Toronto Varsity men’s football and women’s field hockey teams. He then spent a year working at a senior living community, where he led exercise programs for residents in both independent and assisted living. James then earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating summa cum laude.

Having experienced his own share of injuries from competitive basketball, soccer, and ultimate frisbee, James understands the frustration of being sidelined from the activities you enjoy. These experiences inspired him to pursue chiropractic and continue to motivate him to help patients return to the sports, hobbies, and everyday activities that matter most to them.

James believes that understanding your condition is just as important as treating it. Initial appointments begin with a thorough assessment, diagnosis, and explanation of your findings. He works collaboratively with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals and lifestyle.

James has a special interest in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, nerve-related conditions, and sports injuries. His treatment approach incorporates joint manipulation, soft tissue therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy (IASTM), rehabilitation exercises, and patient education to help reduce pain, restore function, and prevent future injuries.

Outside the clinic, James enjoys staying active, playing sports, and discovering new restaurants—so don’t hesitate to share your favourite food recommendations!
